Riding out of Prior Lake, Heath Voss took the sport up late, but quickly honed his skills
racing at nearby Jordan, and many other local supercross and District 23 races. He turned pro in 1995, and
hit the nationals.
Riding for the Great Lakes Aviation Honda team,
then Mach One, he steadily improved his results capping his best-yet season in 2004, with the World
Supercross Championship and numerous top five finishes. Heath rode for factory Yamaha in 2005 and
2006, but bad luck with injuries and his health adversely affected his results.
