There are many traveling trophies that circulate for District 23 Enduros and one
characteristic that they nearly all have in common is that the name Matt Stavish appears
on them many times. Matt had pretty much won everything possible in Minnesota and at the age most
pro motocross riders have retired, he started hitting the national circuit. In 1997, he finished
3rd in the AMA Enduro Series and has been in the top ten in every year he did not run into
injuries, finishing third in both 2001 and 2005.

Thought I'd write you and tell you about my plans for 07. I'll be riding two stroke YZs from
Larson's Cycle with support from Check Point Machine, competing in OMAs and National Enduros
as my main focus, maybe a Qualifier or two, with the ISDE a possibility. After two knee surgeries
last year, I'm refocused, training hard and in the best condition of my life.
