My name is Bob Chase. I have been an Application Programmer / Analyst for many years, starting with something once known as Dbase. From there I moved up the Fox Pro ladder learning object-oriented while programming various versions of Visual Fox Pro. I also have worked on Web Applications and Sites. My primary web development tools were Classic ASP, VB Script, and VFP programs that produced static HTML. I’ve programmed against VFP, SQL Server, and Oracle databases. My environment of choice now is C# and ASP.NET. I have worked for a variety of companies, many of them smaller. The applications were often ERP applications geared towards manufacturers, but I also worked with other industries such as a stock brokerage, a Secretary of State’s office, and one that specialized in ACH transactions.
